Since 2010, I have been painting or drawing a picture every day on 6 x 9 cm paper, which is about the size of a business card. I cut the small watercolour paper cards myself and always have them with me. I create my pictures in cafés, at concerts, parties, talks and conferences, on the train, on park benches, on the beach and at my desk, drawing inspiration from the hustle and bustle around me or from my own thoughts and feelings.

Many of the pictures are done in ink and/or watercolours, but I also use gouache, ballpoint pens, acrylic markers, pencils and other media. Sometimes abstract, sometimes figurative, sometimes minimalist, sometimes ornamental, sometimes funny, sometimes tragic: my pictures are populated by lines, shapes, everyday objects, imaginary creatures, animals, people and patterns.
